We began to write this five track E.P in the first summer of lockdown back in March 2020. Back when the roads went silent, the skies cleared of airplanes and the noise pollution made by humans just stopped.

I remember waking up one morning as the sun broke across the horizon and just sat in the garden under a blanket and just listened. Nature's voice was more present than I had ever heard in my life, so I got out my Tascam DR44-WLB 4-Track Recorder and pressed record.

The Quiet Earth we had been allowed to experience over this unique time period was in fact intricate and complex. Bird song filled every corner of my hometown, the wind within the trees created shifting patterns like pebbles on a beach rolling back and forth. Even the air we breathed in began to take on a cleansing sweetness. This fragile moment in our lives became a gift, a distraction from industry and a moment I treasure to this day.

It was over this unparalleled moment in human history where nature really sang to me. As a result these are the 5 tracks that came out of that period, forever captured and to be re-experienced in your headphones whenever life gets too overwhelming.
